Thinking about 2008 candidates (w/ poll)

Wed Dec 28, 2005 at 10:49:35 AM PDT

I feel I have to ask the DKos community.
There are rumors floating around about Democratic presidential bids. So far here is what I am gathering here are the possible choices (or so I gather):

 Hilary Clinton
 Mark Warner (Virginia Governor)
 Russ Feingold

What is your take on it? UPDATE: I make no claims that these are the only candidates.

I personally do not like Hilary. To me she seems like some sorta slippery eel, riding the wave generated by her husband    She does not seem to stand up and speak up clearly on her own. She seems to be stuck in a limbo between being a centrist and a leftist (to phrase it simply).

I know very little about Mark Warner, short of the fact that he is/was governor of Virginia and that it must be trying to be a Democrat in that state.

Meanwhile, Russ Feingold possesses an ability to actually stop and think on his own, and have the courage to speak out and go on record about it. Which in our times, of political moo-cows of yays and nays is somewhat rare. I do not agree with some of his votes (Robert's votes comes to mind) but his refusal to vote for Patriot act few days after 9/11 on the grounds of civil liberties, tells me that there was one one person in Senate crowd, who stopped to think about American people rather then his own political future.
